Episode 26
In this week’s episode, Monica Ascioti joins me to discuss a day in her life!
Monica is a brand designer and creative consultant who founded her own company The Berkshire Press a few years ago. Monica also designs a stationary line of the same name. Monica and her husband just relocated to Connecticut, and are expecting their first child early next year. Monica and I discuss how she structures her days, prioritizes getting her hardest work done first, and knocks out big priorities early in the week. Monica shares how hydration is a form of self-care for her, how her pregnancy has changed her days recently, and how they’re settling into their new town and meeting new people.
It was so fun to connect with Monica and chat about her days. When I was a blogger in the early 20-teens, Monica’s blog was one I followed, and it’s so fun to see how her career has evolved since then. A huge thank you to Monica for joining us on today’s episode. You can follow Monica at @theberkshirepress on Instagram and theberkshirepress.com.
Items mentioned in the episode:
Good Stuff Spotlight - Since we don’t currently have any sponsors on A Day In Your Life (if you want to sponsor us, hit me up), I wanted to share about an organization doing good. Cocotree Kids is a 501(c)3 with a simple mission, ensure every child has access to clean underwear. Underwear is one of the most needed and least donated items of clothing, and can drastically impact a child’s self-esteem and well-being. Until learning about Cocotree kids, this was something I’d been lucky enough to never consider. Cocotree Kids is providing underwear to at-risk youth across Massachusetts. I personally choose to donate to Cocotree Kids, and if you feel so inclined, you can check out their website at cocotreekids.org. If you’re not in Massachusetts and would like to donate more locally, consider donating underwear to a local shelter or organization assisting at-risk youth.
